Cycling on the Legendary Hills
« Classique Maxime Monfort »

With the hills of Wanne, the Stockeu, the Haute Levée and the hill of Rosier, Stavelot is the centre of a series of obstacles which have marked the history of the Liège-Bastogne-Liège Race. Stavelot Tourist Information Office put forward the idea of this Cycling Ride which starts and ends in Stavelot while going through these hills. It has become one of the most important local summer sports events.
This Cycling Ride takes place on Ascension Thursday every year.
